Why choose the AF-VP500?

Built for coffee producers that need more output, fewer manual steps and a finished vacuum brick ready for demanding retail markets.

01

22-30 bags per minute

Meet higher-volume production targets with a supplier-rated output of 22-30 finished vacuum brick bags per minute.

02

Every function in one line

Feed, dose, form, fill, compact, fold, vacuum, shape, seal, trim and discharge without transferring the bag between separate machines.

03

Accurate servo-controlled filling

The servo-driven dosing system supports consistent filling. With the matched filling configuration, the same line can be prepared for ground coffee or whole coffee beans.

04

Square shape. Secure seals.

Vibration, edge folding, vacuum molding and final pressing create a clean brick profile, while the sealing system protects pack integrity.

05

Industrial-grade components

Controls and electrical components from Siemens, Delta, AirTAC, Omron and Schneider support stable operation and easier parts sourcing.

06

Safe and easy to operate

Multiple safety protections and a centralized touchscreen help operators control the complete line. The final safety configuration can be prepared for European and North American project requirements.

07

Faster delivery and installation

An integrated line reduces complex on-site assembly and the number of manual production positions, helping the customer move from installation to production sooner.

A compact brick begins with a completely connected process.

AF-VP500 links powder feeding, auger dosing, vertical bag making, vibration, edge folding, vacuum shaping, final sealing, trimming and output into one production flow.

Shape that carries from the shelf to the shipping case.

Vibration settles the coffee, side folding prepares the profile, and the vacuum chamber forms a dense rectangular pack. The result is easier to stack, display, store and case-pack.

Dense pack formatLess trapped air and a compact finished profile.
Defined brick shapeMold forming supports repeatable dimensions.
Retail presentationA distinctive format with broad printable surfaces.
Connected handlingFewer manual transfers between key stages.

Six production systems. One coordinated line.

Each module performs a specific job, while the complete layout keeps the package moving from loose powder to a formed vacuum brick.

Powder preparation and dosing

Screw elevator plus auger filler

An 80L stainless-steel hopper with vibration assistance and level control feeds coffee to the screw dosing system. The auger is configured around product density and flow.

Bag making

Vertical form-fill-seal

Forms the bag from laminated roll film, tracks the film, makes the longitudinal and transverse seals, cuts the package and supports date coding.

Density and profile

Vibration and edge folding

Settles the powder and prepares the gusset folds needed for the final brick shape.

Vacuum and finishing

Shape, seal, trim and discharge

The vacuum section removes air and forms the pack inside the brick mold. The finishing section seals, trims, presses and transfers each finished bag to the output conveyor.

Feed

Load coffee into the 80L hopper and convey it to the dosing system.

Dose

Meter the target quantity with the product-matched screw auger.

Form

Shape laminated roll film into a bag and fill it with coffee.

Settle

Vibrate the filled bag to increase density and prepare its profile.

Fold

Create the side folds needed for the rectangular brick format.

Vacuum

Remove air and form the package inside the shaping chamber.

Finish

Complete sealing, trim excess material, then press and level the pack.

Deliver

Transfer the finished vacuum brick to the discharge conveyor.

These are supplier reference values, not a universal performance guarantee. Final output, dimensions, utilities, film, auger, vacuum system and layout must be confirmed after coffee and bag testing.

Configure the line around your actual coffee and bag.

Good vacuum packaging starts before machine production. AFPAK reviews the powder, film, pack geometry and factory conditions as one system, then confirms the required line configuration.

Frequently asked questions.

What is the AF-VP500 coffee powder bag vacuum packing machine?

AF-VP500 is an automatic line that feeds and doses ground coffee, forms a bag from laminated roll film, compacts the powder, folds the bag edges, removes air, shapes the pack into a brick, completes sealing and trimming, and discharges the finished package.

What products can AF-VP500 pack?

The line is designed primarily for ground coffee. Other powders may be possible after sample testing. Flowability, particle size, oil content and bulk density determine the required auger, vibration settings and achievable speed.

Why choose vacuum brick packaging for ground coffee?

The format creates a dense, stackable package with a distinctive retail profile. Removing trapped air can support product protection, but shelf life still depends on the coffee, residual oxygen, film barrier, seal quality and storage conditions.

Can the line make different bag sizes?

The bag former, film width, filling parts, brick mold and sealing settings are configured around the required bag dimensions. Send AFPAK your bag drawing and samples so the supported sizes and change parts can be confirmed.

Is 22-30 packs per minute guaranteed for every project?

No. It is the supplier’s reference range. Stable output changes with bag size, filling weight, coffee properties, vibration time, vacuum target, film performance and finished-pack quality.

What film does the machine require?

A tested laminated barrier film is required. The proposed structure may use PP, PE, PA, aluminum and PET. The supplier specifies PA in its proposed construction to help the vacuum brick retain its shape. The final structure must be validated with the product.

What utilities should the factory prepare?

The reference line uses AC 380V, 50Hz power with approximately 20kW connected load and compressed air around 0.8MPa at 1.1m3/min. Final utilities are confirmed in the technical agreement.

What should I send before requesting a proposal?

Send the coffee sample, target net weight, bag dimensions, film specification or sample, vacuum requirement, coding content, desired output and factory layout. These details let AFPAK prepare a more accurate technical proposal.

Send your coffee. Build the right vacuum brick line.

Share your bag, coffee sample and target output. AFPAK will review the complete packaging system before recommending the AF-VP500 configuration.
